Phrases such as “She’s a bit aggressive” used in judging businesswomen’s job performance are unfortunate stereotyping, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg told the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “They say this with no understanding that this is the penalty women face because of gender stereotypes,” Sandberg said.
She also criticized thee assumption that women will handle the bulk of household work in addition to their out-of-home roles. “Women still have two jobs in the most developed countries around the world; men have one,” Sandberg told the meeting.
